Peace Forest

Holding on to each other hands, brothers and sisters, no politics, no religion, no society to block our view and mold our minds. We saw the meaning behind life, happiness
The guilty turned innocent, the innocent just smiled. Eyes became tools of seeing, not judging. Hands became the tools of love not hate.
As the minds slept the souls danced, danced around the campfire and flew with the stars and the moon. But when the sun rose we show the darkness
We traveled, meaning to get away from the concrete trees and odd animals. When we found someplace new inevitably the animals found us
Eventually we could find no home, no shelter and lose our innocence.
Jeffery became Dahmer, and Thomas became Dillion
Our love was replaced by hate, our light replaced by darkness.
Until the lightning struck as all down.
